Here is a video and some screen caps of Amanda on the Tyra Banks show from
Wednesday. Its a great interview, talked about the holidays and that
she will spend Christmas with her family at her brothers house in Texas and
they made chocolate fondue. Her and Tyra click. It was taped in NYC sometime
last week. Its a long segment and a large file. It replays on
channel Oxygen on 12/27 at 11PM.

Thanks a lot to Pranksalot on our
Amanda Forum for finding a very old interview of Amanda on the Donnie and
Marie show. Its from March 14, 2000, Amanda was 13 years old. Its a
very cute and funny interview.
Congratulations to HairSpray.
The movie has been nominated for a Peoples Choice Award, Golden Globe Awards,
and Critics Choice Awards. Amanda is up for best ensemble. Also the
HairSpray sound track went platinum and is nominated for Grammy Award.
Hopefully all this means a lot of Amanda appearances.
In addition the HairSpray DVD sold over 1 million copies in its first week.
It will sell about 2.5 million copies in the month and make over 50 million
dollars.
Big accomplishments, especialy
for a musical, it was a great movie.

The next stop on Amanda's Dear tour is Randhurst Mall in Mt. Prospect Illinois.

Amanda will be on the new show Fashionably Late with Stacy London Friday (12/7).
Its on TLC at 7pm.
Dear Tour
Amanda
is going on her 3rd autograph tour to promote Dear. Her first of 4 stops
is at the Steve and Barry's at Oakland Mall in Troy Michigan on Thursday (12/6). The signing
starts at 5PM, good idea to get there early, all the autograph signings have
been crowded.Happy Hanukkah

The
HairSpray DVD is out. There is also a
special 2 disc edition with added extras and a
Blu-Ray Version. This was a great movie and a fantastic musical, if
you didnt already see it in theaters get this DVD, its a very fun movie.
And you get to hear Amanda sing!

Awards tonight where she introduced a performance by Queen Latifah . She went with her sister. Here are a few photos, I'm

Amanda has been invited to two
upcoming awards shows and at both she will be winning an award. At the
Turks and Caicos
film festival awards she will be honored with the Rising Star Awards and
at the Hollywood Awards with best ensemble for Hairpsray. The Turks and
Caicos awards are on Oct 20th and the Hollywood Awards are on Oct 22nd at the
Beverly Hilton Hotel. Press releases have Amanda attending both.

was in
Dallas today, hope to get photos or a video soon. Tomorrow she will be in
San Antonio on Military Drive at 10AM and Houston at West Oaks mall at 2PM. Here

in front of Horton Plaza, right after the Fox interview.
Amanda is in Newark CA today at
Newpark Mall. Tomorrow she is off to Texas and will be in
Dallas at the Valley View Center. Yesterday in San Diego Amanda
stopped by the local Fox news for an interview, its a nice long interview and
the host just loves Amanda, here are some screen caps.

Weekly magazine, there's no real interview but she does look great in this new photoshoot.

Here is a video of Amanda visiting a children's hospital where they screened
Sydney White and she signed autographs; made by someone who was there. It
was sponsored by the Lollipop Foundation
which Amanda has worked with before. It hard to find pictures or news
from charity events, not that its surprising since its not scandalous or tabloid
blotter and attracts no attention. At least Amanda cares.

Amanda was on Access Hollywood 2 weeks ago, there are clips of the Sydney White
premiere and she did another Dear fashion show.
Amanda was at the US Weekly Hot Hollywood Party Wednesday night. She was
given the Hot Hollywood Good Girl Awards. She looks great in a form
fitting and still sophisticated mini dress.

Sydney White opened in 6th place
at the box office this weekend with 5.4 million. Go see it everyone, its a
much better movie then that. A lot of other stuff competing with it and
Universal and Morgan Creek pretty much abandoning the movie with almost no
promotion lead to that low opening.

Premiere last night in Westwood. Amanda looked hot in a black dress, I
cant say the same for
a lot of the others there. Amanda's
family was there and she walked the red carpet with her sister Jillian. The
movie is out in theaters today, if you a fan of Amanda you'll love it.

Here is a new video of Amanda in the dressing room trying on different things
for a prescreening of Sydney White.
Amanda was at the 40th Anniversary
party for Advocate Magazine yesterday with several Hairspray co-stars at club
Republique in Hollywood. She looks hot in a light blue min dress.
Amanda was also on local Fox News LA
yesterday morning. Its very funny and Amanda is more animated then ever.
She talked about a lot of things we never new, like her mothers family founded
Club Monaco.

Amanda was on TRL today. She
co-hosted the show and did a good job. She looks nice in a mini dress and

Amanda was in Chicago on her Dear autograph tour, these are photos from the
Chicago Ridge Mall. She looks pretty and has a small braid which is new.

I saw Sydney White:
Earlier tonight my sister and I got to go
to the theater and see a pre screening of Sydeny White. Its very funny, much of
the theater laughed out loud a lot; we both loved it. The movie is great, just
as good as She's The Man.

Congrats to Hairspray. This pass weekend it passed 100 Million at the US box
office and by the end of this week will pass Dreamgirls to take the spot of the
number 3 best musical ever.

Here are some recent magazine
scans. In them Amanda says she still lives at home with her parents, she
also says she would like to produce.
Amanda was a the Manhattan mall
earlier today for any autograph signing and the official launch of Dear.
This event was incredibly packed with lines out of the department store, though
the mall, and then wrapped around the outside. Looks like Dear is going to
be very successful, congrats to Amanda.

night, which I wasnt aware of till the last minute. The interview was very
good and she talked about her Dear line, Hairspray, and She's The Man.

Yesterday morning Amanda was on
The View, she gave everyone in the audience gifts from her Dear line, which will
come out August 10th. She was also on the music station FUSE.
HairSpray made 27.8 million this weekend at the box office, making it the
highest ever opening for a musical
It is a fantastic movie whether you like musicals or not, if you haven't seen it,
go see it.
