Amanda leaves her Agency and Representatives. Earlier this week Amanda
left Creative Artists and is now on the hunt to find new representation.
Hopefully the new agency can get her some more movies, good movies.
Amanda's next role will be in Living Proof on Lifetime in October. There
are also rumors of two other possible movie roles.

Steve & Barry's Bankrupt; according to the Wall Street Journal earlier today the
company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. It is believed they may have to
now close all of there 276 stores. Steve & Barry's is the only producer
and seller of Amanda's Dear clothing line.
This is bad news, of course for all the people who work at those stores, and for
Amanda who worked hard developing it and promoting it with her Dear Tours; and
the Dear line is said to be successful. Hopefully another retailer looking
for a line from a celebrity with a very good reputation will pick Dear up.

New Movie! Amanda Bynes has already finished 9 days of filming for
a role in the Lifetime movie Living Proof with Angie Harmon and Harry Connick Jr.
The movie was filmed in New Orleans. Its a drama about Breast Cancer, it
is set to air around October.

Movie Rumor: Bumped! There is a credible rumor of a movie called Bumped,
a staring role for Amanda, to be produced for 2009. Its about a group of

Amanda joins ACDC (Adam/Chu Dance
Crew) for a cameo appearance in there latest dance off video. The dance
off is an internet dance competition between ACDC and Miley and Mandy (Miley
Cyrus). Elijah Kelley, Brittany Snow, and Adam Shankman from
Hairspray and Robert Hoffman from She's The Man are also in it. The
dance off videos have gotten millions of hits on Youtube.
Amanda's Part is from 2:40 with a few spots threw the rest of it, She is a
pretty good dancer, just wish her part was longer.

WOW, Amanda's hair is back to

set of photos is from the hair salon, unfortunately Amanda got absolutely
swarmed by a small army of paparazzi, she handled it well. The second set is
from Foxtails restaurant in Santa Monica. All the photos are from Thursday

Amanda went out to a show at the Macha Theater in West Hollywood Thursday night.

In the recent Animal Fair Magazine
and US Weekly Amanda mentioned moving out of her parents house. Dont know
to much other then se bought a condo somewhere in SoCal sometime around
February. She rented an apartment once before while filming WILAY, but

Second update for the day
The May
issue of Seventeen Magazine is out. Here are the scans, great photos and a
great interview. The article is very personal and for someone who
has always been very private she gives far more details about issues in her life
then she has ever done before. She talks about her relationship with her
parents and past boyfriends.
Amanda has been busy on her Birthday week. Yesterday she was at a
party thrown for her hosted by Seventeen Magazine for there May cover reveal and
for her Birthday

night at gossip expert Perez Hilton's birthday party event. Amanda looks
great in her mini dress and her hair is much darker then it has usually been.

Seems like theres an end to the
Writers Strike. Leaders on both sides said they worked out an agreement,
hopefully it all works out well for everyone. The strike is the primary
reason why there has been no word on new Amanda projects; everything's been
stopped due to the strike.

Sydney White is having a pretty
good DVD rental run, fairing better then its box office numbers, which should
have been better. In its first 2 out weeks it made 10.5 million dollars
and again thats with no advertising support from Universal just like the theater
release. DVD sales for 2 weeks made 2.5 million.

Thanks to the members of our
Amanda Forum for hunting down some old TV spots; The Jamie Kennedy Experiment
from 9/18/03 and The Drew Carey Show 9/26/01. Both are great Amanda vids,
one of the Drew Carey show skits is a pretty unique role.
This Sunday night is the SAG Awards. Amanda is nominated as part of Best
Ensemble for Hairspray, the show Airs on TNT at 8PM EST. Hopefully
Amanda will be there.

Bynes is the new face of the ad campaign for the Vaseline line of products.
The photoshoot features Amanda's legs; she does have very nice legs. This
is the first time she has advertised for a cosmetics company. Here is the

Sydney White, Amanda latest movie is coming out on DVD this week.
Its a pretty funny family movie. Amanda does a great job with her comic
timing, face expressions and physical comedy, all the things she is great at in
all her movies.
If you didnt see it in theaters you can rent or buy a copy this Tuesday.
Anyone who is an Amanda fan will enjoy it.

HairSpray went 0 for 4 at this
weeks Golden Globe Announcements. Nikki Blonsky and John Travolta were
both up for awards, they really deserved them, the whole movie did, it was a
great musical and a very fun movie. The critics clearly agreed with the
awards given at the Critics Choice Awards.

WGA Strike Affecting Amanda
Amanda
told interviewers at the Palm Springs Film Festival that her projects are being
stopped by the writers strike: “The strike is affecting me,” she said. “I had
a few projects in the works and they were sort of stopped dead in their tracks.
But I’ve taken it as a time to play with my puppy and just relax because once is
over, I think everything is going to come back strong. I hope!”

No Golden Globes for Amanda ether she told Access Hollywood at the
Palm Springs Film Festival: “I’ve never been invited before so I was very
excited to go, so it’s disappointing,” Bynes said. “Maybe next year or the year
after.” After the interview took place, it was announced the Golden
